Our engineers are fully qualified registered professional engineers. They have both industry and extensive forensic experience. All have qualified repeatedly for many years as experts in arbitration and in court as expert witnesses.

In the work that we do, “engineering” is the constant, the base from which we are able to address the wide spectrum of assignments which we receive. A common thread runs through almost all. Loads exist or forces are imposed and materials respond. Sometimes the materials are parts of the human body. By collecting every piece of physical evidence we can find we can reconstruct the event.

Clearly the more evidence the better the analysis and therefore the best time to record such data is before anything is moved. Vehicles still at point of rest, glass unswept, machine guards unmoved, ladder where it fell, crane,water pipe, fire scene untouched. This is seldom possible but the sooner the engineer is on site the better the opportunity for a detailed reconstruction.

Once the physical analysis has provided a picture, verbal testimony can be tried for fit. This process will assist a determination of which testimony is viable.

The breadth of our experience in forensic engineering including biomechanical and biomedical analysis, is illustrated in the partial list of assignments completed. From slip/fall to murder to truck collisions to faulty product design, we have been there. Each was associated with loss, injury or death.
